These are not only titles, this is one of the last ecological Edens, where we can still witness nature, ruling huge and wild ecosystems. a super abundance of wild animals, just like a century ago, when they roamed all over Africa. Southern Circuit

Southern Tanzania contains some of the largest and best preserved wilderness areas in Africa and indeed the whole world. The Selous and Ruaha reserve clusters encompass some 120,000km˛ of pristine wildlife country. These reserves also seat on the confluence of eastern and southern ecosystems. On the north of the great Ruaha and Rufiji rivers East African savannas, woodland and Montane rainforests prevail but on the south begins the great cross African Miombo woodland belt with its characteristic Sable & Aoan Antelopes, Greater Kudu, Puku, and huge herds of elephants and buffalo. It is hard to imagine, but only some 3000 visitors reach these amazing parks yearly which guarantees those that do reach these reserves a unique experience of Africa as it was hundreds of years ago.

Most of our clients reach these reserves on fly-in fully catered safaris but we also visit the area on our overland 4X4 safaris and even further a field with our walking safaris to the remote back country of the Selous and Ruaha.
